CINEMA GREENS: BRYAN’S NEXT 20 YEARS!

Bryan A. McBrien began his career in Hollywood California in 1997 working on the Film “CONTACT” as a young Greensman, only three months out of University. He has continued to work with the best & brightest Directors, Production Designers, Art Directors, SPFX Artists, and all the other Crafts which make up a successful Movie Crew. With his induction into the Art Directors Guild in 2012, Bryan became the first IATSE Greens Coordinator to become a member of Local 800 (ADG).

FATE OF THE FURIOUS 2017

With over 5o Feature Film credits and 20 years in Hollywood, Bryan has worked on almost every budgetary tier, dozens of distant locations for extended periods, blizzards, monsoons, searing heat, and even Alien planetary conditions! From the extreme elevations of Pikes Peak, The Central Rockies and the Wasatch Mountain Range, he has continued to push the boundaries while figuring out the logistical issues that come with shooting crews working at 9,000 plus feet. From the Deserts of California, Arizona, and New Mexico to the bayous of Louisiana, Bryan has “been there and done that.”
Starting his foray into becoming a Vendor to the Greens Industry in 2008 with he created  SILK & PLANT (CA, UT, AZ, MI, & NM) to test the waters. In 2013 he partnered with Jeff Brown and, then owner, Ford Jones of the newly formed CINEMA GREENS in Atlanta, GA. The company has been changing and growing, literally, over the last 3 years. Carlos “Paco” Martinez purchased Ford’s share of the company creating the current iteration of Cinema Greens. With our Flagship property in Hampton, GA with a 14 acre shooting ranch complete with an 1897 Farmhouse, 5,000sf fabrication warehouse, 7 acre nursery, and a custom built 13,000sf Greenhouse, Cinema Greens has become the one and only source for Greens rentals in the Southeast.

PASSENGERS/OSCAR NOMINATED FOR BEST ART DIRECTION 2016

Bryan is proud to announce his retirement as a Greens Coordinator after 21 years in I.A.T.S.E. Local 44 and is now dedicating his time, solely to Cinema Greens where he will operate as the companies CFO and Art Director (Art Directors Guild/Local 800). With the addition of the Cinema Greens Decorator’s Mart in Downtown, Atlanta this April of 2017, the company keeps growing and connecting with Film-makers, Decorators, Greensman, Event & Wedding Planners, and local entertainment community based in the booming State of Georgia. The next expansion will be relocating the Decorator’s Mart to the East Point Archive Building where Cinema Greens will be partnering up with Bob Lucas of C.A.P.S. to create the largest decorative and prop based facility on the East Coast. Stay tuned this March to follow our progress moving into our new 15,000sf facility located minutes from Hartsfeld-Jackson Airport and the New Tyler Perry Studio at Fort McPherson.
